A year ago today Russia invaded Ukraine. We can be proud of our country’s military, humanitarian and economic support for Ukraine, amounting to nearly £4 billion so far. Today we can say to Ukrainians here, in their own country and around the world that we mourn with them for those who have given their lives for Ukraine’s freedom and that our commitment to ongoing support for their country and its people remains strong.
