It has been my great privilege to work with Andy and Lynda Eadon, following the tragic loss of their son. They have done tremendous work to raise awareness of mental health challenges, particularly for younger members of the farming community. On Thursday the 12th of January, I was able to raise the Eadon’s case with Mark Spencer, The Minister of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and ask him whether he agreed that more needed to be done to support the mental health of those in the farming community.
