Last week I met with members of CW10 at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. CW10 is an informal network of senior representatives of leading heritage, museum, performance and arts organisations in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
Fantastic to see that Kite is training to become a fully fledged guide dog. Kite is named after local charity collector, Margaret Kite, who has been awarded the British Empire Medal for her services to the charity sector.
Kenilworth Town Council is putting on a Community Crime Prevention Event on Saturday 16 February. It will be an excellent opportunity to hear advice from experts in the field, and I am fully supportive of this initiative.
I was pleased to be a member of the panel at the recent event at Rowington Village Hall. I had previously chaired a meeting with representatives from the rural areas covered, following which we agreed to arrange a broader meeting for local residents.
