Dementia-friendly parliament will be world first

Regular readers of my Westminster column will know that one subject features fairly regularly – that subject is dementia.  Ever since I was elected to Parliament in 2005, I have been involved in raising awareness of the issues surrounding dementia and I welcome any initiative which supports this aim.

New Southam hub a blueprint for good practice

Southam's MP Jeremy Wright donned hard hat and boots to see how work was getting on at the town’s new community hub this week and Mr Wright was so impressed with what he saw he hopes the completed building will serve as a blueprint for similar developments across the country.

Taking action over Horse Fair

Last weekend Kenilworth suffered another Horse Fair. I do not think the word suffered is inappropriate. I was in town on Saturday and things seemed normal but it is clear that Sunday’s atmosphere was very different. Anyone trying to drive through the town, or even join the traffic from their own driveway, would have found it very difficult to do so. 

New distribution centre is boost for Prologis Park
