Nominations for the Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Awards are now open. The purpose of the Awards is to celebrate best practice in breakfast club provision and recognise the role played by the schools, teachers, parents and children in helping them run.
It was good to meet with a number of constituents at the open surgeries I held in Wellesbourne and Kineton today. Cllr Anne Parry, Cllr Danny Kendall and Cllr Chris Mills were also there to assist those who came along from the local area.
Privileged to be invited to open the newly refurbished village hall in Lighthorne Heath this summer. It has undergone a complete refurbishment to make it a fantastic space for local residents of all ages to use.
Congratulations to pupils across the constituency who received their A-Level results today. The excellent results in this area are testament to the hard work of pupils, teachers and schools and the support of parents. I wish all pupils good luck as they move on to the next stage.
I am pleased to support this year’s UK Parliament Week, taking place 12-18 November 2018. I encourage people in Kenilworth and Southam, especially young people and their teachers, to get involved and hold a UK Parliament Week event.
Celebrating the success of Super Car Sunday at The Tiltyard in Kenilworth. The event raised over £2,000 which has been split between two worthwhile charities - The Myton Hospices and Macmillan Cancer Support.
It is crucial to invest in community assets for the future. As the Member of Parliament for Kenilworth and Southam, I have recently been pleased to see two fantastic projects come to fruition, which I know will benefit local communities for many years to come.
