Statement by Rt. Hon Jeremy Wright QC MP The legislation authorising construction of the HS2 railway line moved to the House of Lords on Wednesday, having passed its ‘Third Reading’ stage in the House of Commons with a majority of 357. Approval of the Bill by the House of Commons was never in any doubt, given the support for it from all major political parties and following a similarly huge majority in favour of its Second Reading. 

Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week

Apprenticeships are thriving in England and National Apprenticeship Week which took place between 14th to 18th March celebrated the positive impact that both apprenticeships and traineeships have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

Site visit to Toll Bar Island

An issue I am frequently asked about is the amount of on-going road works in our area especially by those who regularly use the Toll Bar Island on the A45, which is right at the very edge of the Kenilworth and Southam constituency.

Christmas is a magical time, especially for children – a time filled with beautifully decorated trees sparkling with coloured lights, presents and thoughts of Santa’s sleigh rushing through the sky led by his loyal reindeer. It is also a time that brings people together – singing carols, decorating trees and enjoying the company family and friends.
