World Alzheimer’s Day

Since 2012, September has been marked as World Alzheimer’s Month, the centrepiece of which is World Alzheimer’s Day, which falls on the 21st September every year.

Opening of the Chapel of Unity at Coventry Cathedral

Honoured to be invited to re-open the Chapel of Unity at Coventry Cathedral this month. The remedial work was completed earlier this year following a grant of £870,000 from the Treasury's First World War Centenary Cathedral Repairs Fund.

Supporting the Royal British Legion

I was concerned to hear that our local branch of the Royal British Legion is under threat from a lack of members. In the last four years the numbers have dropped from around 150 to just 23.

Kenilworth Arts Festival returns for its third edition from the 20th - 29th September, with a programme of over 30 fantastic events taking place in different venues around the town.

Kellogg's Breakfast Awards

Nominations for the Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Awards are now open. The purpose of the Awards is to celebrate best practice in breakfast club provision and recognise the role played by the schools, teachers, parents and children in helping them run.

Wellesbourne and Kineton open surgeries

It was good to meet with a number of constituents at the open surgeries I held in Wellesbourne and Kineton today. Cllr Anne Parry, Cllr Danny Kendall and Cllr Chris Mills were also there to assist those who came along from the local area.
