When I visit hospitality businesses across our local area, from village pubs to family-run restaurants, many tell me they’re struggling after the 2024 Budget, which raised employer NICs and added further pressure to already tight margins. In next month’s Budget, the Chancellor should act to ease the burden on the sector, support jobs and back careers.
