Rugby Road, Cubbington – HS2 Works
🚧 HS2 has updated its programme of works for the Rugby Road Overbridge and permanent road realignment. The start date has been moved from 15 September to 29 September 2025.
📅 Traffic management phases:
Phase 1: Mon 29 Sept – Fri 3 Oct → Two-way temporary traffic lights (24/7).
Phase 2: Mon 6 Oct – Sat 1 Nov → Full road closure (24/7).
Phase 3: Sat 1 Nov – Sat 22 Nov → Three-way temporary traffic lights (24/7).

B4455 Fosse Way – Cycle Bridge Works
🚴♂️ As part of the construction of the B4455 Fosse Way Cycle Bridge, HS2 will be carrying out excavation and preparation works ahead of the bridge lift in early 2026.
📅 Closure details:
Mon 20 Oct – Sun 2 Nov 2025 → Full road closure of B4455 Fosse Way (24/7).
The road will reopen at 6 pm on Sun, 2 Nov 2025.
