Recently I met representatives of Parkinson’s UK during their Parliamentary Drop-in Briefing to discuss how we can tackle this condition.
On World Parkinson’s Day it’s important to highlight the work they do to help those who live with this terrible condition. Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurodegenerative condition in the world and affects around 153,000 people in the UK, predicted to reach 172,000 people by 2030.
Until a cure is found, the work of charities like Parkinson’s UK is critical, offering a wide range of services and advice for those living with the condition and the wider communities.
