It was a pleasure to meet Sarah Palmer from the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs, based in Stoneleigh, on Tuesday.
We discussed a range of issues affecting young farmers, including the importance of skills and training for young people in the land-based sector, mental health and wellbeing, along with food security and the impact of the Government's changes to inheritance tax.
