Regular users of Warwick Parkway station will know that the lift to platform 1 is working again, but this provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of such infrastructure, particularly for those with disabilities or limited mobility.
One of the privileges of my job is meeting people who serve the needs of others in this constituency. Despite the cynicism of our age, I find the highest ideals of public service in many corners of our area, in those who put in tremendous effort to support and enhance their communities.
