Jeremy Wright MP

It was fascinating to attend this week’s Science Showcase hosted by the UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI).

The UK DRI is the UK’s national research institute dedicated to finding solutions for neurodegenerative conditions.  Leading UK DRI scientists showcased groundbreaking research from discovering the causes of neurodegenerative conditions. The highlight of the showcase was the NHS-integrated Minder programme which is harnessing digital technology and AI to deliver high-quality care in the home, reducing preventable hospitalisations of people living with dementia and promoting independence.

I look forward to hearing about future progress and developments in research.
