I was delighted to tour Birmingham Airport and hear its plans for the future, including a new air-rail link to HS2 and an updated passenger security facility set to be delivered by June 2024. The airport is a significant contributor to the local economy, supporting 34,400 jobs and £2.1 billion in economic activity by 2033.
