A46 Overnight Closures – HS2 Works
🚗🛠️ HS2 has confirmed overnight closures on the A46 near Kenilworth to complete final safety, central reservation and utility works. Once complete, all lanes of the A46 will be open.
📅 Dates and details:
▪️Fri 26 Sept (8pm–6am): Two lanes closed northbound between Thickthorn and Stoneleigh.
▪️Sat 27 Sept (8pm–6am): Southbound slip closed at Stoneleigh + two lanes closed between Festival Island and Thickthorn
▪️Sat 4, Sun 5, Sat 18 & Sun 19 Oct (8pm–6am): Full closure – Festival Island to Thickthorn.
▪️Mon 20 Oct (8pm–6am): Southbound slip closed at Stoneleigh + two lanes closed southbound between Stoneleigh and Thickthorn.

Long Itchington Road – HS2 Works
🚦 HS2 has updated its programme of works for Long Itchington Road, linked to construction of the Fosse Way Overbridge and road realignment.
📅 Phase 1: Mon 13 – Fri 17 Oct 2025
▪️ Overnight closures (7pm–6am)
▪️ Temporary multi-way traffic lights (6am–7pm)
▪️ A signed diversion will be in place
